It is almost two years later that Sasha decides she wants to go home because she misses her family and she misses James. When she arrives in Perth Layla and Chase go to the airport to pick her and her son Jye up. When Layla sees Jye she knows he is James son and Chase wants to know what has happened and why she has kept Jye a secret and when Sasha explains that she tried to talk to James but he never called her back Chase is both pissed and Happy because he knows that James is going to be excited about his son.

When James comes to see Sasha after not seeing her for two years and sees Jye he goes through a lot of emotions but the one emotion Sasha never thought he would have is love. He loves his son and he is determined to be a part of his sons life and he wants Sasha back. He wants to be a family and he is determined to be a family and make it work with Sasha. James knows he has to come clean with what he does as a job but he is afraid Sasha may not understand but he knows he better do it soon because losing Sasha and his son is not an option for him.

Plus James has secrets and these secrets can either make or break Sasha and his relationship. Will James come clean with all his secrets in time or will Sasha leave again and take their son?

Okay, so I have loved all the books in the resisting love series but James was always the one who intrigued me the most!!! Always so mysterious!!! It was the perfect amount of humor, mystery, and romance!! I loved, loved, loved these books!!! Everyone should read them!!!
Sweet and sexy describe James perfectly. We finally find out what exactly he does for a living, after it is eluded to in al the previous books. We also find out the history he has with Sasha. This is a great series that keeps you up to date with all of the other characters as you read each new story.
James' story deserves a 5 star! James just oozes sex appeal. This book has humor, love, and pain. For those readers who read Chase and Kade' s story, you will meet them again. Since they are family these characters are part of the story so I recommend reading them in order. I read Chase, Kade, and Ryder all books I highly recommend.
This was a story that stays with you. It is well written and deals with highly emotional issues. The characters are very complex. The storyline is fast paced. Great series that I highly recommend.
I can't wait to read about the rest of the people! I hope Tee gets a book. Oooo Tee and Sax should so be a couple!!! And Trey and maybe Sadie? Ooo so excited!!!

If you are intrigued by the description and sample you will definitely love this book, series and author! I would definitely recommend this book and this series and this author. But for maximum pleasure and satisfaction, read the first book (and the second and the next after this and any other book by this AMAZINGLY FABULOUS author!!!).
I loved this book and I've enjoyed the whole series so far. I saw a couple of reviews that say it isn't as good as the other books, but I disagree. It seemed a little shorter, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. James and Sasha are different people and deserved their own story, so of course it should be different from the other books. Each book should be rated individually and not based on others. That's not fair to the authors who are gifting us with their words and allowing us to see these amazing friends and families as their stories are told.

All of our favorite characters make multiple appearances. Chase will always be my favorite, but the others are all so good as well.

Watching James get his family and happy ending was great. I've worried about him, and you learn what his job is and discover he is an amazing man for what he's doing. There are some surprises and a couple of bumps in the road, but James is a sweetheart and gets his girl (and more).

Great book and looking forward to the next one.
For this to be the first instalment to let me down in this series Chantal has done pretty good so far. But what really bums me is this was the one I was looking forward to the most.

James was AWESOME, he was adorable, kind & just perfect, however for his story's lead up be all about the mystery, well it kinda sucked once we got to it. There wasn't really a follow through with all of that build up.

James's 'secrets' weren't all that amazing, actually very predictable.
Sasha was HORRIBLE, I hated her from the start, what a selfish, spoilt nasty little jealous piece of work.
EVERYTHING about her I hated, her secrets & stuff ups were 10 times worse than James & she held James accountable for her own mistakes & errors of judgment.

I'd give this a 2 stars for Sasha alone, but James's character deserved more than that.

Also how can Sasha complain about James's skills at parenting when she had every Tom, Dick & Harry babysitting Jye for her, & 99% of the time it wasn't even for her part time job! it was mainly to paint her toenails, get drunk, just go & visit friends & family or stuff herself with food. she is a horrible role model as a mother. Jame's should have dumped her tooshie & taken Jye for. Himself!
