Thomas is down on his luck in every way: no home, broke, divorced and lonely. Added to that, he has issues with his short term memory. Ginny can't seem to keep a man. Added to that, she's snowed in and away from friends and family for Christmas. When Thom gets into an accident in the middle of the night, he ends up at Ginny's door.

I didn't really enjoy this story as much as I did the first two. The other books were short, too, but they managed to touch a few things in each. In this one, Thom's brain injury isn't really ever addressed, and Ginny doesn't seem to know about it, either. I know that Thom had already decided to continue active duty, but there wasn't any follow-up mention of how things were going with GAPS.

This is one novella I definitely think should have been a full-length novel.

Military men fighting for innocent people. Thom is injured in a mission and trying to get back to duty. Virginia is house sitting. A snowstorm dangerous roads and an accident is how they meet. Thom can't remember what happened. I don't want to give the rest of the story away.
I loved the book and romance. The intimate scenes were just what I've come to expect from this author. However, I would love to see the development of the relationship between the main characters. Also, why such finality in the "fixed" situation with Thom? Will he never marry again? He seems too young for that decision he made probably in anger, with the ex-wife in mind, if his mention of the sitch in the other 2 books in any indication.
Thom isn't happy with where he's at at age 28, father of two, divorced and back living in the bachelor barracks, when unforeseen accidents happen how will he deal....Ginny is the perpetual loner, and since she works from home she's able to take a great side job house sitting and cat watching, when life throws her for a bigger loop than she's had before what will she do....Thom and Ginny's story was quite cute and very fast paced...onto the next
...but this highly anticipated read was a disappointment. This makes me sad as I really wanted to like it. I'm crazy for SEALs.

Thomas and Ginny finally met up at 45% of the way in. Everything to that point felt like backstory... With a lot of introspection, internal dialogue, and stuff that had nothing to do with the romance. The characters were well motivated (though we spent far too much time in their heads) but I still had a hard time connecting with them. Given Springfield Mass (setting for this story) is one of my hometowns, I enjoyed that aspect and could easily visualize the New England winter storm. Unfortunately, for me, only a so-so read.

Ginny is a bit of a recluse. Much as she wants a relationship, she's having a hard time finding a man worth the effort. She shakes up her life by house sitting out of state for a few months. And that's how she ends up SEALed on Christmas with Thom. Thom is a SEAL who has had a tough couple years. His wife left him, taking his kids with her. He's had some rough missions with his team. Needless to say, he's frustrated in many ways. It's at this point Thom, almost literally, runs into Ginny. The sparks fly immediately. But his job intervenes again. He will need to win Ginny' s trust once he returns. Will the sparks between them be enough? Hoping some of the loose ends in this story get tied up in the next book.
This was fast paced book with intrigue and a great adventure. Adrian needs to write a book and the only way for her to do it is to go into a reclusive place. On the other hand Thom is a SEAL and is on a mission in Afghanistan and is blown out of the sky by a rocket while in a helicopter. He returns to base with no memory. I wondered how these two stories were going to come together but they did. I will leave that part of the story for you to read. I thought it was kind of clever how it was done. Romance does take place eventually. Enjoy the read!
Wow, I'm so glad Thom is getting his HEA, finally!! After a bitter divorce, Thom is a little turned off on love. Ginny is lonely & a string of bad first dates have made her jaded. An opportunity to house sit in MA, has her leaving behind her friends & families. It's Christmas Eve & a snowstorm is raging outside. Ginny wakes from a sound sleep to realize the power is out & she can here a banging outside. Must be the barn door, so she goes to check. As she opens the barn door, suddenly she is grabbed from behind! The man holding her is talking about a military mission! Thom has no idea where he is, why he's there or what his name is, not good! He is soaking wet, freezing & has a head injury, which explains his memory loss. Ginny is worried about him & brings him to the house. With the power out, it's cold inside too. They light a fire, but the only way to warm him quickly, is body heat, they snuggle together by the fire & drift off to sleep. As he wakes, he realizes that he can remember again & the woman beside him is very appealing! They spend the night "getting to know" each other. He leaves in the morning, to find his SUV, which he crashed in the storm. As he approaches the truck, he sees Chris, a former Team member. This can't be good! Thom has been called back to the base & the Team, there is no time to go back & explain to Ginny! Will Ginny ever get over the heartbreak of Thom never coming back, when his note clearly said " be back soon"? Can Thom convince her, without giving secure information, that he isn't lying about his job? Check out this series, you won't be disappointed!
